Community standards

To help protect yourself and others:

• Do not share personal or financial information, such as your full name, address, telephone number, or bank details while talking with other members or leaving feedback messages
• Keep all conversations on Vinted
• Buying items from Vinted members outside Vinted’s secure payment system, such as by direct bank transfer, means your purchase won’t be protected
• Do not reply to suspicious messages, phishing attempts, or requests to move conversation elsewhere
• Report anyone who pressures you for personal information, payment or bank account details, or photos of yourself

Before buying or selling, you can also check the member’s profile and reviews.

Ensuring you’re protected while connecting with the Vinted community is one of our top commitments. Vinted doesn’t allow harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, or abusive behaviour.

This includes content or messages targeting someone based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, disability, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, or serious illness.

If a member violates our community standards, we may block their account either temporarily or permanently, in line with our Terms and Conditions.

We also aim to prevent potential offline harm and do not allow support, praise, or encouragement of terrorism, organised violence, or hate groups.

This also applies to private messages — use them only to exchange information about items, and keep the conversation respectful.

If you’ve noticed or experienced inappropriate behaviour, harassment, or phishing, or believe a crime is being organised on Vinted, please report it.

Do not post, share, or send vulgar, pornographic, or obscene content on Vinted. This includes explicit or suggestive nudity, depictions or descriptions of sexual acts, sexualised items (e.g. sex toys or fetish products), and sexual services.

We have zero tolerance for sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, or unsolicited sexual messages directed at other members. This applies to all areas of Vinted, including private messages, profile content, and listing descriptions.

If we become aware of any content that displays or advocates for sexual acts and nudity, we will remove it.

If someone sends you sexual content, displays nudity, or behaves inappropriately, report them to us immediately.

All listings must follow our Catalogue Rules.

We don’t allow prohibited items, counterfeit goods, replicas, imitations, or fake branded products. Listing counterfeit items or items that imitate authentic products is against the law, third-party rights, and Vinted policies.

If you see a prohibited or counterfeit item, report the listing.

We may remove listings that violate our rules or pose a risk to members, even if the item isn’t specifically listed in the Catalogue Rules.
