1. What is a cookie?

4. What types of cookies are there?

(a) strictly necessary cookie

These cookies are essential to a website in order to enable a user to move around and to use a websites features, such as remembering information entered on forms when a user moves between pages within a browser session. 6. Google Remarketing: what is this and why do you use it?

This technology enables users who have already visited our Website and used our online services and expressed an interest in our offer to be re-targeted with advertising on webpages of the Google partner network. The display of ads is made by possible by the use of cookies, small text files saved on the user's computer. The text files allow users' behaviour to be analysed when they visit the Website and then used for targeted product recommendations and tailored advertising. The data acquired via tailored advertising by Google and from visitor data from third-party providers (e.g. age, gender and interests) is captured by us in Google Analytics.

7. Google Analytics: what is this and why do you use it?

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", text files that are saved on your computer and that make it possible to analyse your use of the Website. The information produced by the cookies regarding your use of the website is generally transferred to, and stored on, a Google server in the US. On our Platform we have activated IP anonymisation so that, within EU member states or other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, your IP address will be abbreviated by Google in advance. Only in exceptional circumstances will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there. - Trackers on your mobile devices: you can switch-off ad personalisation in your Vinted App: Profile -> Settings -> Cookie Policy by unselecting your previous choice (Allow to use trackers and collect browsing information for ad personalisation).

- Trackers in web browser: you can refuse further tracking for ad personalisation purposes on About Us -> Policies -> Cookie Policy or My Settings -> Privacy Settings (only for registered users) by changing previous setting (Allow to use trackers and collect browsing information for ad personalisation). If you are not a registered user, withdrawal of your consent will be recorded by installing a so-called opt-out cookie. This will prevent the future capture of your data for ad personalisation purposes when you visit this Website. Please note that, if you remove all cookies that have been placed in your browser, the opt-out cookie too will be deleted.

Your decision to withdraw earlier consent will apply towards all Vinted platforms on all devices you may use.
