They provide free specialist palliative care for patients, families and carers facing life limiting illnesses from across North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and towns and villages in Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, serving a population of around 500,000 people. It costs us Β£8.5 million a year to provide our services, and although we receive some funding from the NHS, we need to raise Β£16,609 every day in charitable income and greatly rely on the support of the community to help fund our work. We also rely on the support of our fantastic volunteers to help us deliver our services.
