A vintage copy of "Lest We Forget" by Joseph Hocking. This book was published by Ward, Lock & Co., Limited in London and Melbourne in 1926. The book has a dedication "To My Son CUTHBERT, IN THE HOPE THAT HE MAY ONE DAY READ AND UNDERSTAND." The book's cover is a charming red cloth with some signs of wear and a few marks, as expected for its age. The pages have an authentic, aged patina and show some light foxing, but the text is clear and fully readable. The spine and binding are intact, though there is a small part of the paper missing, on the first page covering the spine. There is a pencil mark on page 7. The book contains a list of contents and a list of other titles by the same author, providing a lovely glimpse into the publishing world of the era. This is a wonderful piece for any book collector, a fan of Joseph Hocking's work, or someone who appreciates the history and charm of old books.
