Utwory na „My Songs” zostały dostosowane do 2019, ale wciąż nie tracą ducha oryginału. Na wydawnictwie usłyszymy między innymi takie przeboje jak „Englishman In New York”, „Fields Of Gold”, „Shape Of My Heart”, „Every Breath You Take”, „Roxanne” oraz „Message In A Bottle”. Do albumu dołączono osobiste notatki napisane przez samego artystę, w których muzyk zdradza historie związane z powstaniem konkretnych piosenek, jak również opisuje okoliczności nagrywania. Krążek jest celebracją twórczości Stinga, zarówno solowej, jak i z The Police. Za produkcję „My Songs” odpowiadają Martin Kierszenbaum (Sting, Lady Gaga, Robyn), Dave Audé (Bruno Mars, Selena Gomez) oraz Jerry Fuentes (The Last Bandoleros). Miksami zajął się Robert Orton (Lana Del Rey, Mumford & Sons), a inżynierią Tony Lake (Sting, Shaggy). „My Songs” ukaże się na CD i winylu. Na wersji deluxe dodatkowo pojawią się koncertowe wersje „Synchronicity II”, „Next To You”, „Spirits In The Material World” oraz „Fragile”. Sting dotychczas sprzedał ponad 100 mln płyt na całym świecie, zdobył najbardziej prestiżowe muzyczne wyróżnienia i zapewnił sobie legiony oddanych fanów.
