Up for sale is this gorgeous, all-original Seiko Speedtimer “Bullhead” Ref. 6138-0040 in very nice vintage condition, featuring a beautiful warm tropical patina and a rare Portuguese day wheel — an uncommon and highly sought-after detail that makes this piece stand out among Bullheads At the heart of this Bullhead beats Seiko’s iconic caliber 6138B, a 21-jewel automatic chronograph movement, the first fully integrated two-register automatic chronograph with column wheel and vertical clutch — a technological leap in its time. This movement was so ahead of its era that Rolex later adapted a similar architecture for the modern Daytona in the early 2000s.
