The Siege is a fan-expansion by ”Settlers of Crypto” for the board game Catan that creates various new challenges and requires new strategies for the game. This game piece, together with the included 10-page rule book (digital), has separate scenarios and unique rules for both your base game of ”Catan”, but also if you own any (or multiple) of the expansions: ”Seafarers”, ”Cities & Knights”, ”Traders & Barbarians”, ”Explorers & Pirates” and/or ”Treasures, Dragons & Adventures”. So no matter how big of a Catan-fan you are, there are more than one way to play the game with The Siege. ’The Siege’-game piece matches the design of the regular international game pieces for Catan - i.e. the plastic pieces. The included rule book is a digital download with beautiful art and detailed rules for all the expansions and scenarios it’s compatible with. The rule book is as of now in both English and Dutch, with more translations to be expected. This fan-expansion is the first of many by ”Settlers of Crypto” containing a physical game piece for the game.
