How shipping works
On Vinted, buyers pay for shipping and choose their desired shipping provider at checkout. As a seller, you can choose the shipping providers you make available to buyers. You’ll receive pre-paid labels to ship your items each time you make a sale.
Shipping costs depend on parcel size and where the parcel is sent from and delivered to. Buyers see the total shipping cost at checkout.
Buyers choose their shipping provider at checkout. Always send the parcel with that provider so we can track it. If you use a different one, tracking won’t update, and we’ll cancel the order and refund the buyer.
Depending on the shipping carrier, you’ll get either:
- A pre-paid label: download and print the label, then stick it securely to the parcel
- A QR code / digital label: show or scan the code on your phone at the drop-off point
Sellers can choose the shipping options they make available to their buyers. The more options you make available to your buyers, the better your chances of making a sale.
Check available shipping options or manage your settings in “Settings” > “Shipping” (or “Postage”). Keep in mind you can’t disable all providers or international shipments.
If a disabled shipping provider is the only available delivery option for the buyer, it may still be shown at checkout so they can complete the purchase. If you can’t ship with that shipping provider, you can cancel the order without receiving negative feedback.
If you can’t ship your order within 5 business days, use the deadline extension option on the conversation screen with the buyer to request 3 or 5 additional business days. The new deadline only applies once the buyer accepts your request.
If you don’t send the item by the applicable deadline, the order will be cancelled automatically.
