Shipping on Vinted
When a buyer checks out using the “Buy now” button and chooses one of the integrated shipping providers available on Vinted, they’ll purchase a shipping label for the seller to send the order.
NoteIf a buyer purchases an optional paid service for the order (like Item Verification or Electronics Verification), the order will be routed to the verification hub before reaching the buyer.
Integrated shipping is the only available option for items either purchased with the verification service or eligible for it, even if the service is not used.
Shipping providers for this method:
The UK is connected with the US and Australia. See under Good to know for information about sending and receiving items internationally.
ImportantUnfortunately, selling and buying items isn’t available to/from some remote Australian islands and territories:Unavailable locations in Australia
- Norfolk Island NSW: 2899
- Christmas Island WA: 6798
- Home Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands WA: 6799
- Lord Howe Island NSW: 2898
Once the buyer selects and pays for an integrated shipping option at checkout, we’ll send a digital shipping label or code to the seller.
Sellers will see this information in their inbox along with instructions on how to send the order (for example, whether the label is digital or needs printing, where to drop off the parcel, etc).
ImportantOnce purchased, the prepaid Vinted-generated label must be used to send the order.
If a different label or the wrong shipping option is used, the order will be cancelled automatically.
If you use this shipping method, you’ll agree to the shipping provider’s Terms and Conditions.
- Buyers can request a refund through Vinted if there’s an issue with the order.
- Sellers are compensated for lost or damaged parcels depending on the set compensation limits. Learn more about seller compensation when using integrated shipping.
- Ownership of parcels: If you receive compensation for a lost parcel, or if a returned parcel remains uncollected after the deadline and any additional holding period, the ownership of the item and its contents transfers to Vinted Go UAB.
Sometimes, buyers may not be able to select certain delivery options due to:
- Sellers’ postage settings — sellers can select the shipping providers convenient to them
- Shipping provider limitations — some shipping providers can’t deliver larger parcels or deliver to certain postcodes, particularly in remote areas
- Availability on Vinted — we may decide to add, remove, or temporarily disable certain shipping options if needed
Some carriers may be set as default in the seller’s profile, which means they cannot be turned off.Once the buyer buys the item and pays for the shipping label, the selected shipping option cannot be changed. To use a shipping option, the order would need to be cancel and placed again.
