Im a first time mum and I have a little boy aged 3 months. 👶🏻
I was wondering if any other mums have any tips, advice or anything that could help me please. What shall I expect in weeks/months to come? Whats good and bad? What shall I do and not do? What are your experiences, good, bad or embarrassing? 💭
I have a bit of experience with babies due to younger siblings so I pretty much know what Im doing but theres always those odd few things I dont know or didnt know until I got told. Xx

@jessicca_ox 😍😍 ah bless, he's beautiful! I've no advice unfortunately but gonna save this post as I'll be a first time mum myself in 8 weeks 🙌 just seen this post and wee pics of your little man and had to say how gorgeous he is..
I'm extremely nervous and excited all at the same time.
Still deciding on breast feeding or bottle feeding. What did you do?
@jessicca_ox congrats Hun he's beautiful. I'm a Mum myself however mine are now at high school (makes me feel old writing that) my eldest is 13 and is 6ft with size 13 (yes I know they are hugeeeee) feet! Towers over me at 5ft! Enjoy every minute as they grow so quick! Xx
Am a mum of 6! All different ages Hun! Oldest 21 youngest nearly 4!Everything comes natural you'll know from gut instinct that's something not right! It's more common sense really you'll be a fab mum Hun so don't worry ☺️ xx
Hi Hun awww congratulations he's just gorgeous :-) I have a 7yo and a 5yo, my advice is that you know your baby better than anyone so go with what you know, have your own routine and find what works for you. Ignore other people's 'ideas on how you should do this or that!', every baby is different. Enjoy him, before you know it he'll be at school so treasure every moment ❤️ xx
Wow what a cutie congratulations lovie.😍my advice is always go with your instincts.you know that wee child better than anyone.as long as he's fed clean happy and healthy.enjoy every minute it passes too quickly.xx
Thank you ladies for your kind words and compliments, he is gorgeous I can't stop looking at him, I never knew how much it was possible to love someone! 🙊 😘 I keep hearing do this and don't do this from my family, friends and health visitor, sometimes I don't know who to listen too... e en though my health visitor is trained etc but everything changes over the years like it use to be fine to give babies water now my health visitor says we're not allowed now.. but my mum gave me and my siblings water.. my partner had water and few friends give their baby water.. uhhh yeah I'm like a grizzly mummy bear I get so protective when people are with him I'm like be careful, don't drop him, don't do this, he likes that etc lol I know what he wants most of the time I deffo know he will be a mummy's boy 😂 xx
@hakuna_matata it's entirely up to you how you feed your baby Hun, it's your baby. They all say breast is best but some babies can't latch. I tried breast but he wouldn't latch so I had to turn to formula, he's still growing nicely and as long as baby is fed then don't worry xxx
Your son is gorgeous. Health visitors do everything by the book if you want to give him water you do it. My health visitor was hopeless so I just did everything my own way, my daughter is fine with no I'll effects from doing things my way at all she's 6 now. You know your child and what they need better than anyone @jessicca_ox. I used to worry what others thought about my parenting to begin with, but if it works carry on x
My daughter was 8 weeks prem so couldnt latch on so I pumped milk for her and she had that through a syring straight into tummy for the first two weeks and i pumped my milk and stored it in the hospital fridge for her before she was even strong enough to drink from a bottle. You will know what is right for you and your baby when the time comes @hakuna_matata
Yes that's what everyone keeps telling me, but I don't wanna do anything wrong.. lol I've decided I'm going to give him 2/3oz of water every couple of days. As if you give babies too much water it can stop there body functioning or their digestive system or something .. okay then lol bless you, thank you xx @janecbarnes
